Hello again for another sketchbook update, where I draw a goblin pinup, but it is not Nitz as the subject. Instead, I was commissioned by my good friend of 25 years, Kevin, to draw Bandy from his books.
So, here we go, another goblin. Why not check the art out and read on for more info?

So Kevin Heyman and I have known one another for a long time, and I have been thrilled that he’s turned to writing, to the point where his output is blowing me away. It’s all very good stuff. This character, Bandy, first showed up in his romantic comedy story, I Fell in Love at the Goblin Bistro. Bandy was a very appealing character right away, and I’m glad so many people are enjoying her appearances.
Kevin commissioned me to draw her, and since the story is set in Mississippi, I figured a little bit of the Daisy Duke style was appropriate, especially as she does some modeling for another character. Ideally, this could be an in-universe photo he can reference in the story or to provide art to supplement the story.
Here’s the full “Polaroid edition.” For those curious, the piece was $35 total.

Watch Me Draw It
If you want to see the drawing process for the piece, including the photobashed background creation, then please check out the latest upload of HPKOMICS LIVE on YouTube. I walk through the entire design process.
With that said, my schedule has opened up for new commission opportunities. If you are curious, check out my commission info and reach out about a job. If you’d rather just donate or subscribe via Ko-fi, that would be great too, as it really helps me out and keep my website around.
