Congrats on making that hard decision. I'd certainly prefer seeing the comic version go on indefinitely but I totally respect how you might want to prioritize, you know, eating and keeping a roof over your head. ;) Glad to hear you're able to just shift your focus and keep the characters and stories alive; that sounds like an excellent compromise.

Always appreciate your comments.

I am realist enough to know that my goofy stories are not a path to wealth, so I think I ought to just be me.

" ahh, a change in mode of production thats less intensive, even though is harder to consume (less than tik tok videos/videogames) easier to make, stripping the production values.

I've had to strip a tv mindset from my comic, more interioty and pov. Even non-sequitur scenes made more sense due to filming can be expensive.

Hopefully it will fit in with the monastic view of teaching, yet with the Internets obsession of tautology making everything for a living, including pragmatics and craft. Teaching freelancing/firms and non-profit is business models of finances a good idea.

I look at James Gurney, along with his own pedagogical direction, I'm at least glad he did not monetize his online money-making. You may have to take a holistic view of your craft, beyond it.
