This is a great first chapter, as it has hooked me in very quickly. Although it sounds fantastical with the reanimated corpses, it feels very real to me as someone who works a production job. The dulling of the necromancer’s senses is something I understand all too well. The last two lines in particular, are both poetic and horrifying.
