Trying something new with the background here, I actually did it entirely using single color shapes and contrast to carve out my features, then went over them with shading and details. No a single bit of colored lineart aside from the character, Guugel. That means the robot in the background is also using that background technique.
Every once in a while, I like to post a work in progress image to show you guys snippets of the process as I move through my pages.
Panel from the comic that is not quite dead yet. Thought you might find this interesting.
Comics are coming along well, hoping to post the next story in the coming months.
Coming together finally. So here is a panel.
Okay, everyone is on-board. Need to ink this, as well as get back to working on the rest of Shmoofyland Robot Rampage. Thoughts are appreciated.

Where am I going with this?
I have decided I want to get serious about this whole “blogging” thing, as I seem to have some sort of gift for writing (at least according to others) and I don’t really ever sit down to do some serious writing. Maybe this generalized blog would be a good way for me to take the plunge and practice the craft. After all, if I want to write for a living, I need to actually write when I have some time to, yes?
Not sure what posts will be about, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out. I’ll try updating once a day as well. I guarentee you at least for a little while, the posts will be either about my comic, my education, or World of Warcraft, as I am very set in my ways at the current.
Perhaps a little fiction too, if I am so inclined. Hell, might as well post some of my essays for the heck of it.
The world is a big canvas, and my goal is to make my marks on it.
Or at least draw mustaches on every single person I can.
