I throw my vote in with the site being an extension of the narrative.
Web pages are just the medium and in ten years maybe there’ll be no ‘pages’ like we use them now. That’s why I say let the narrative override site decisions. The needs of the reader outweigh the needs of the web, or something. =)

Javier Bardem is a fantastic actor. He was great in Love in the Time of Cholera. I never saw No Country for Old Men.
