Alright guys, my first Spongebob comic I’ve written should be available this month in the “Winter Fun” issue of Nickelodeon Comics (a.k.a. SpongeBob SquarePants Magazine).

I have my portfolio site open, but I have very little in there! What I’d like to do is let my visitors help me decide what to include. All you have to do is post a comic on this entry with a specific suggestion.

By specific I mean an actual suggestion, not just vague ones such as “do a life drawing”. What would be better is, “do a life drawing of at least three people walking down the street”.

I know many people who visit my site are creative and are likely in the same boat as I am, so your suggestions to adding good portfolio content is extremely important to me.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and please, suggest away.

My second script finally got drawn and colored, so here is a panel. I enjoyed the script because it involves one of my favorite characters- Plankton!

In other good Spongebob news, I just sold another script, this time involving a treasure map and Pirates! I’ll let you know when the comics go on sale as soon as I find out, and I’ll continue to keep you posted about new comics as they get picked up. Also, doesn’t hurt to see more colored art, right?

I have a few shirts down the pipeline right now, and I am basing them on Cosmic Dash storylines. Expect to see an Egg MacGuffin shirt sometime before the end of the story.

That’s right! I’m starting a new Ben’s Book of Banned Beasts storyline. It’s been a while since I did anything with the concept, but I definitely wanted to do more. What brought this on though? Well, I wanted to show my love for Comic Dish with an exclusive webcomic for the site, so I figured this would be as good as any! So please, drop by the BBoBB site at Comic Dish, and consider signing up for the service and hosting a comic of your own, or take advantage of the fantastic mirroring options if you’re hosted elsewhere.

But hey, that’s not all! The first of the redrawn Cosmic Dash pages since the loss of all my files in a computer crash is up! You can check out the new version, and be sure to let me know what you think. I’m working on the very next page right now, and I am hoping to get it done. I’m paying extra attention to each page, just because I want the comics to be that much better.

Last, but certainly not least, the artdump is back! There is a new look, but unfortunately fewer images than what was in its prior incarnation. However, I’ll be updating this near daily. Right now it’s full of Cosmic Dash production materials including a new project that ties into the future Cosmic Dash website layout. Anyway, thanks for being patient while I get some stuff together. I’ll be putting together a digital portfolio very soon, as I’ve already linked it right there at the top of the mainpage to the site. That way, I’m kind of forced to get on it soon.
